Client approvals without the Slack chaos
Approvals are where social scheduling tools either earn their keep or quietly get abandoned for screenshots in Slack. The trick is to make the approval the default path, not an extra step.
Decide per client, not per post
Some clients want to see everything. Most want to see nothing after the first month. Postwoo lets you set require approval per client (and per organization as a fallback). Editors never have to remember who needs what — the post simply lands in the right state.
Roles that mirror the agency
- Editors draft and submit.
- Managers approve, schedule and publish. Their own posts skip the queue.
- Owners and admins see everything and manage the team.
- Client users can be restricted to their own client record, so a client can approve from inside Postwoo without seeing anyone else's work.
Review replies deserve approvals too
A reply to a two-star Google review is more sensitive than a Tuesday special. Postwoo treats review replies as first-class approval items: editors draft, a manager approves, and the reply publishes through Google's API. Replies to five-star reviews can go straight out.
Keep the receipt
Every approval, rejection (with its note), schedule and publish lands in the audit log with who, when and from where. When a client asks "who approved this?", the answer is one click away — no scrolling through Slack threads.
Bonus: approvals as a feed
In Postwoo, a post that needs approval shows up in the feed with a Needs a thumbs-up sticker and an Approve button right on the card. Approving feels like liking a post, which is exactly why people actually do it.
